Criminals kill, injure Iraqi civilians in rocket attack (Baghdad)

Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – Criminals launched two 107 mm rockets from Sadr City that killed two Iraqi citizens and wounded eight others after the rockets struck a home in central Baghdad at approximately 1:30 p.m. May 8.

“These criminals continue to demonstrate complete disregard for the safety of innocent Iraqi civilians, and their indiscriminate use of violence is terrorizing the citizens of Baghdad,” said Col. Allen Batschelet, chief of staff, Multi-National Division – Baghdad and 4th Infantry Division. “Iraqi Security Forces and Coalition forces are working to enforce the rule of law and take these criminals off the streets.”
