Multi-National Corps – Iraq Public Affairs Office, Camp Victory APO AE 09342 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RELEASE No. 20080119-10 January 19, 2008 MND-B Soldiers find two caches in Doura 4IBCT, 1ID PAO Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO BAGHDAD – Multi-National Division – Baghdad troops found two weapons caches and detained three suspected extremists during ongoing security operations in the Rashid District of the Iraqi capital Jan. 16. Following a tip from a local citizen, Soldiers of Company B, 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, attached to Task Force Dragon, raided a home in Doura where they found a pistol, a video camera, and two cell phones believed to be used as bomb-making materials. The troops arrested three men at the home on suspicion of extremist ties. The men were taken to a Coalition Forces detention facility for further questioning. Additionally, Soldiers of Co. A, 2nd Bn., 4th Inf. Regt., found a weapons cache consisting of six improvised grenades, a UGO grenade, a 57mm projectile, three 57mm rockets, seven rocket-propelled grenades and an 86mm anti-tank mine.
