Suicide bomber targets Baquba mosque

Multi-National Division – North PAO

BAQUBA, Iraq – A suicide bomber attacked a Shia mosque in Shifta, a suburb of Baquba, Jan. 17.

Eight civilians were killed and 13 wounded in the attack, according to the district Iraqi Police commander.

Iraqi Police transported the wounded to a U.S. Army medical facility at Forward Operating Base Warhorse.
