Video Available: Community leaders host Special Olympics for Baghdad’s Rashid District

Multi-National Corps – Iraq

FORWARD OPERATING BASE FALCON, Iraq – A ‘b-roll’ video package story and Windows Media File radio beeper of an Iraqi-led Special Olympics event are now available.

Disabled Iraqi citizens compete in a Special Olympics tournament at the Al-Thura Sport Handicapped Club in the Jihad community.

Iraqis participated in tennis, ping-pong and fencing.

Soldiers, from the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, assisted local community leaders in coordinating the event and providing security.
