FORWARD OPERATING BASE KALSU, Iraq – Coalition forces, acting on a tip from local Iraqi citizens, discovered a cache containing more than 2,500 components Sep. 6 southeast of Samrah Village in the Babil province. It is believed this discovery will significantly disrupt explosively formed projectiles attacks within central Iraq.

BAGHDAD – During a joint patrol with Iraqi Police Aug. 29, Capt. Michael Kolton, with Troop B, 1st Squadron, 75th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Multi-National Division – Baghdad, stopped to talk with a group of men standing in the shade of a cluster of trees. Well, that ruffled some feathers. I'm glad to see Republicans energetically defending themselves. Lethargy and malaise are unbecoming in a Party during a Presidential campaign. On the political homefront they are indeed the one Party that's supported the effort in Iraq from the beginning, and kept it from becoming "another Vietnam", and I think the Party can take pride in that.
