Host Your Own Copy of the Petition
If you would like to host a own copy of the Stand By The Mission petition tailored to your blog, contact nz - at - victorycaucus - dot com and provide the following information:
The name and URL of your website or blog
The email reply-to address that the petition software should use when sending "thank you for signing" and "tell a friend" emails.
Whether you would like the petition to include a message asking signatories to also call Congress (501c3 organizations should consult their legal counsel as to whether this is appropriate).
The HTML / hex code of your page background if it is not white (i.e. FFFFFF)
Hosting your own copy of the petition allows you to tailor the petition as noted above to be an integrated part of your site, and also will allow us to give you access to our partner portal where you will be able to track and download signatures received on your version of the petition.
If you don't need to track signatures or tailor the petition, or just want to put it up on your site right now, you can use one of the options below. Each option shows how it will display on your site on the left, with the HTML code to cut-and-paste to the right. These options use a 'generic' id code for the petition, which means you can't track signatures or change the appearance of the petition, and emails will simply come from 'Stand By the Mission' instead of your site name. If you want to try the petition out, start with one of these, and we can always set you up with your own id later!

To use this image instead of the default one below, just replace "petitionad.jpg" with "petitionad_petraeus.jpg" within the relevant IMG tags.

If you don't want to have the petition on your own website, but would like to support the effort, you can use this code to put a graphic button on your site that directs visitors to the Victory Caucus version of the petition.
Generic Petition
(sample not shown: this will put a full-size version of the petition in-line on the page you place the code on)
This approach uses a generic "id code" so you don't have to wait for one to be set up for you, but you will not be able to track signatures using this version. This method should only be used if you can create a new page on your site or include it in a blog post (don't try putting it in a sidebar). You can adjust the WIDTH and HEIGHT parameters to make it fit best in your page layout.
